General philosophy: seeing ourselves as growing out of the world, like flowers or trees, rather than being dropped into it. In the words of Alan Watts, where there are rocks, watch out! Because one day there will be people!

Very interested in Wilber's integral theory, B. Alan Wallace, Buddhist studies, contemplative science and spiritual practices (as well as experiences). Although I tend to sway towards a more academic style (or philosophical?), I do try to remind myself to keep ultimately keep it simple. Words can be helpful but not if we get lost in them, even if they sound clever, enticing and convincing.

Peace, being

-Jer

Some old poetry… (back when Gaia was Zaadz).

Integral Blogging

we'll count the nightingales

and whistle with the spring dove,

when the fall returns

so too does fall the love,

of seasons passed, seasons to come,

seasons not to be but one,

falling in and out of sun.

~Sparrow~

 sparrows woven, newborn rest,

And nestled in their warmth, for best,

As mother tends under guided wing,

To teach these newborns while they sing,

As one day the all must see,

That feathers, supple, lift them free,

To make first leap, in nature's sight,

Alone, Sparrow must take first flight.
